Anxiety problem again -need support

I just spent yesterday in the emergency room. I was went in because the night before I just could not get myself to sleep and I kept shaking, it was just so uncomfortable - I finally gave in to some help. They gave me all kinds of tests. My health is fine. They sent be home with some valium to take for a few days and made another appointment with doctor ( supposed to see Tuesday). I am so afraid I'm going to be like this forever - I guess I'll have to take medication - but afraid of side effects. I just want to be normal again. I'm going to go to some classes on anxiety, maybe I'll meet people with worse problems. I really need some support.
