Not all turmeric supps will give you an anti-inflammatory response. Turmeric is just a dried and ground root...basically a spice. It is made up of several curuminoids. But the most bioavailable comes from the extract of those curcuminoids which is achieved by chemical means (solvent) to get the curcuminoids out of the root powder. The extracted curcuminoids is then standardized to a 95% purity which is what you find in the most efficient supps. 95% curcuminoid extract is as good as it gets. Read the label on your bottles and check for 'blends', 'blended with' or 'a proprietary' ...that means those supps are not pure extract and the price points of them will usually be low.
