Here we go again...

I have been using my machine for two days.

When I used it this evening, there was a loud squeaking noise coming from the bed, I think it may be the casters. This only happens when I am on it, and I can only assume it's my weight working against the casters in the track. When I disengaged the cables and turned the machine on its side, I noticed that when I slid the bed back and forth, the casters don't roll like wheels; instead they simply remain stationary and glide in the track. I've also noticed small filliments of white dust which I assume might be the casters wearing down. And the tracks also felt warm, which indicates a resistance of some kind.

My guess is that this ISN'T the way the machine should be working. Or is it?

Do you think the casters might just be too tight? It shouldn't be too difficult to loosen them up, but dangit, I'm going to have to remove the bed to do it...and it is very difficult and time consuming.

Also it appears as if the far right cable (my machine has three) has loosened up considerably after only two days of use. Do the cables have to be re-tightened this often? Again, somehow I don't think so and when it is required it looks as if it will be a hassle as well.

When the machine works, it works great. I could deal without the hassles, though.
