Aneurysm update

Went to Univ. of Penn today for consult and will have my surgery Wed. and will stay in ICU overnight and come home Thurs. So for all you good people who always pray for me, I'm asking for your prayers again. Must say I'm a bit scared @GingerHead was the one that told me I better get it checked. Anyhow, thanks to her and to all my friends here for their prayers.

@catter70 - I didn't know about this, but I will certainly pray for you, your surgeon and the rest of your medical staff, and your loved ones.

I'm really glad they caught this early.

Wishing you all the luck in the world, I had posted before I know a few who have done this surgery thru the groin and all went perfectly. U Penn is great, you are in good hands.

@catter70 You will do great! Not only did you notice something was not quite right, you followed up with what @GingerHead thought might be the issue! Right there you advocated for your good health and didn't ignore symptoms! Having that wonderful attitude, even though you are scared, I know if anything comes up either before or after surgery, you WILL seek advice/answers! THAT'S key to success both in your mental outlook before surgery, and also healing after!

Any surgery is scary, especially what's going on for you, but this has become much more common place so surgeons have lots of experience. They will take excellent care of you and before you know it, Thursday will be here and you will be recuperating at home! Lots of prayers for everyone involved for a successful surgery AND to keep you as peaceful as possible. Best of luck!
