As someone else mentioned, a person shouldn't just willy nilly take supplements without knowing what dosage they need. My doctor did a vitamin D panel, and I had normal amounts but was on the low end of normal. I asked about supplementing, and she said she was fine with it as long as I stayed at 25mcg (1000IU). As you look at Vitamin D supplements, you will see that many formulations have way too much if your blood tests turn out like mine!
Also, there is mixed evidence concerning taking vitamin D and vitamin K at the same time. They are both fat-soluble vitamins, and they can compete for absorption if taken at the same time unless enough fat is consumed with them.

I see a specialist because of a brain disease. She said "less is better" with a lot of supplements. Our bodies expel most of the excess but they can also cause issues with many ailments, including brain issues.
Thanks. I'm careful. My Dr has a complete list of what I take and my labs are usually good.

@Ainhisg Yes. Thanks. My Dr has a complete list of what I take. I brought in the bottles. She wanted me to take more to keep my D up.
