There are actually a lot of medicine that will cause you to gain weight.

Medicine for fibromyalgia can make you gain weight.  

Basically, several of the medicines for fibromyalgia are a kind of antidepressants.  A lot of antidepressants cause weight gain.

I have a few other medications that says something like 'can cause weight gain.

Another thing a large number of medicines cause dry mouth.  That's what I'm dealing with...dry mouth.  It gets so bad sometimes it's difficult to talk.

I take a medicine to increase saliva.  It's expensive.  I guess people think, "just drink water'.  I drink lots of water, but water isn't the same as saliva.

Anyway, I apologize for bla blaing.  Just wanted the OP know there is always something that medicine causes while helping to get better.
