My office RX plan is now we pay a copay for anywhere else, but most drugs are free if you use Amazon. My coworker just had 3 RX delivered to her home this week, all went well. I just dont like that they are on a hot truck and left on a hot porch for what could be a long time.

there are no good prices for Eliquis or the other blood thinners like it.  The problem is the US has not approved generics (elsewhere in the world there is a generic for Eliquis).   They keep extending their patent.  Its very very expensive on Medicare.  They need to approve the generic.

I have two prescriptions from gyn doctors........the last time I got one filled at CVS it was $185 for one tube. The other was over $50 and the gyn at the time told me to use Mark Cuban's drug plan. 

I've signed up for Amazon but haven't had any fillled yet. Any mail order pharmacies will be shipped in a hot truck...........be it CVS or Amazon.

For those of you who have such high costs for this med., have you tried looking into any of the discount RX plans to try and see if you can save some money on the cost of the medication?

Someone already mentioned Mark Cuban's plan, but there's also GoodRX, which is perhaps one of the most common plans and is accepted at most pharmacies.

You can use these plans if the cost is less expensive than your insurance plan. You just need to check with your pharmacy and see if they accept the discount plan, and see if it would be less expensive to use it than if you were to use your insurance.

Another option may be ordering from/thru an Canadian Pharmacy . That's what I have been doing for several month now .

@cindyNC  @Toppers3  @aqua3 I checked into all the discount cards and Mark Cuban's program and they were all more expensive than what she is currently paying.

It very well could be that Amazon would be cheaper for her but I've decided to step away.  I did what she asked me to do however I will not be the one to place the order with Amazon because if something goes wrong it will be blamed on me.

No military base pharmacy near you? Co-pays are zero.

Go on Tricare website. Perhaps you can find a participating pharmacy.

This is the only solution until a generic is approved in the US as it is in Canada.

This med is still $400-500  a month from a discount pharmacy because no generic is available in the US
