@Texas Gray Wolf. I often use saline nasal spray which seems to help and isn't habit-forming.

@haddon9 I looked up Vizslas cuz I'm not familiar with that breed. They're beautiful dogs! Dogs are the best, aren't they? Sooooooo sweet and loving. 💖
My picture is of Jessie, our 2nd Golden. Now we have Jessie2, who looks very much the same. I've seen a LOT of Goldens online and there is some variation in the shape of the face (some are more squared) and, of course, color.
We got Jessie2, would you believe, at our local dog pound. Someone had given her up at 4 years old!!!! Their loss was our gain. She's now almost 7 and one of the sweetest dogs we've ever known. 💖 Unfortunately, larger dogs don't generally live as long as smaller dogs, but we enjoy her every day that she's with us.

I take Xyzal everyday. It works wonders for me. I also use Flonase nasal spray 2 X daily. I have chronic Sinusitis and have been on these type of medications for years.
I was taking Allegro for years before I tried Xyzal and I like that 1 better. My Pulmonologist also approved.

@spent2much Jessie looks like a sweetheart! I hope she lives many more years with your family. A dog in the home is the best!

I am on three different prescription med's I have to take daily all year long. The only OTC I take is red little pill from Sudafed. I take one every day and more if needed, but the one is part of my allergy morning routine.

My husband has been having the worst allergies, sneezing, runny nose, etc. He has to take 2 medications to make a dent in the symptoms: Xyzal and Singulair. One alone doesn't work. He's tried Claritin and Zyrtec with zero results.
