I promised a couple of posters that I would review this after a short period of use. I received the machine a week ago. DH and I put it together and it took longer than they said because we put a piece in upside down{#emotions_dlg.scared}. Once we figured that out, it was ok.

When I ordered the machine I bought a separate pillow for the rebounder workout and Pilates DVD 3 because DVD 2 was out of stock. I have used all the dvds now and I am happy to say that I am very pleased with my purchase. I think I will use the machine regularly so it was worth the money. I find the workouts fun and better on the machine than on the mat. I have been doing mat pilates for about 15 years regularly and wanted to up the experience with the machine.

I am surprised that the rebounder gives as good a workout as it does. I also am pleased that I ordered the extra pillow for the rebounder sessions. It gives more support than the pillow that comes with the machine. (Note ... you are not supposed to use this pillow in regular pilates workouts because it positions the neck too high and may cause injury.)

This machine complements my elliptical and I can see a good combination of workouts on both. If you're on the fence, this is a good, sturdy machine. The equipment works smoothly and the frame is well built. No worries about it weakening with use except for normal wear and tear. As mentioned by previous posters, it does take up a lot of space. Fortunately, I have a large gym area in my home so no worries there. If you are tight for space, I would check the space requirements for this machine carefully. I think the layout requires something like 12' x 4' or even 12' x 6' to allow for room for the various poses. It does not collapse for storage.

I plan to order DVD 2 for variety of workouts.

HTH.
