Hello
Slipped on the ice and got a radius fracture of my wrist. It has been in a splint for eight days and a cast will be put on tomorrow.
Will the pain subside after the cast? does the bone have to be manipulated before the cast is put on? how hard is it to keep it dry? I sometimes get sweaty hands if I get too hot. what did you use to cover it while showering? did you have to have physical therapy?
I'd appreciate any info or tips you might have for me. My emergency room basically patched me up and sent me on my way and a PA is going to be putting on the cast.
Thanks!
