Re: Acupuncture For Arthritic Back

I have heard many positive results from people who have had

acupuncture.

However, not have immediate access to that treatment, I decided to commit to sessions of PT for my back issues.  Thanks to an excellent PT, my back is so much better.  I do avoid carrying anything heavy, but I feel like I have my life back.  I did go to many sessions last fall and that was so worth my time and effort.

My brother was a chiropractor and treated a lot of people with osteoarthritis. You might want to check with a reputable one.

@PamfromCT .. I have done many sessions of PT and it definitely does work.  I still do the exercises at home several times a week.  Right now I'm having issues with my lower back and started PT again.  But, this pain is being persistent so I'm thinking about acupuncture.  My therapist is OK with it.

@Winkk I don't know anything about acupuncture. I just wanted to wish you well! That sounds incredibly painful. I hope you find something that relieves the pain for you....and soon!

Accupuncture is not painful,   You must be patient.  You need to lie still for about 30 minutes each treatment and it takes quite a few before you feel resutls.
