Re: ANYONE USE ANDREW'S TUMERIC?

[ Edited ]

I take Qunol brand, get them from a reputable seller on ebay.  Very high in curcumins, I only take 750 mg per day, my choice since I take lots of other supplements too, such as UC Collagen II and Boswellia which are highly recommended for arthritis pain.

Re: ANYONE USE ANDREW'S TUMERIC?

@Shelbelle   I ordered the Lessman Turmeric but cancelled as soon as I read the various negative reviews on this board.

You mentioned taking UC Collagen II and Boswellia for arthitis pain.  May I ask the dosage and brands you recommend?  I never heard of either but do take Lessman's Glucosamine/Chondroitin.

Thanks so much!!

Hello again, Linda, I dont take Lessman gluc/chond since it is made from shellfish, it may be a myth but I have always thought shellfish can raise cholesterol. I take Glucosomine with MSM which is shellfish free, I buy Vitacost or Swanson brand, take 2 per day. I use different brands of UC II, it is a bit pricey so I buy when there is a deal on a price, some brands on amazon or Vitacost or Swanson or Puritans Pride, take one cap a day, 40 mg per cap. Boswellia, I buy mine from Double Wood supplements either on amazon or direct from the vendor's site. I like this one since 2 a day are very potent in this brand. This brand is very highly recommended on the lit I read.  All 3 of the ones I mentioned are highly recommended for arthritis in joints, my knee needs these to keep me away from a replacement. Hope this helps, always here for you, Shel

BTW, you can look on the Arthritis Org website for a list of suggested supplements.

Just an FYI, I dont buy anything from Lessman!!!

His " support " selling tactic is ridiculous.... No supplements have ever been medically

And over priced.

What a strange comment. I'm sure there are rules about saying something can "fix" anything. Support is a perfect choice to describe the effects.  I love Andrew's products and take many. I love listening to him when he's on. I learn new things each time. I will never take any other brand of supplement.
