A Tropical Get-Away...Any recommendations?

I am in need of a tropical get-away! Do you have any recommendations? I would LOVE to go to Tahiti but that is too far. Need to keep the trip closer. I hope some of you would tell me names of some resorts you have been to and what you thoughts are regarding those resorts. If you have been to Tahiti or Bora Bora I would love to hear your thoughts even though I can't make that trip this year. My dream trip would be to Bora Bora and stay in the hut over the water. That would be awesome but it will not happen this year{#emotions_dlg.sad} But we are going somewhere. Haven't been on vacation in a long, long time.
