@Goodie2shoes     You really went through the wringer and deserve  a positive outcome! So happy to hear things are looking good for you and your knee.  I could not imagine going through knee replacement on the same knee twice. Just WOW! Once is definitely enough!

Thanks for your well wishes. I already had the left knee replaced in 2015, no problems. The right knee done 9/30/19 decided to be a problem in May of this year. abcess developed, hardware removed with temporary knee until a staff infection  was resolved then the redo done 9/24.  This too will pass and I will be dancing by Next month !

I'm surprised to hear that.  Friends who have had both said that the knee replacement was much harder.  I've only had a TKR so can't compare - and I hope not to have the opportunity, ha ha.

Happy to hear that your recovery is going well.  I had my left knee replaced a couple of years ago, I do need my right one replaced. It was supposed to be this Fall and then Covid 19 happened so fingers crossed, Fall 2021. The right isn't nearly as bad as the left knee was but I want to get it done before it does get bad.  Good luck with your continuing recovery.
