2nd Rt knee replacement Recovery Update

I am starting outpatient PT Monday, still on the walker but feeling stronger and ready to wean from it. Dr removed the Rt Knee stitches Thursday (21) said everything looks good, x rays showed the knee hardware in alignment. My knee is still swollen but that's to be expected so I am icing after my home PT exercises. I'm so ready to drive again (haven't driven since June) hope summer of 2021 is much better than this but I am still truly blessed. I'm going to try using my cane in the next few days. Having a repeat knee replacement is a real experience and not a good one so take care of your knees out there !

I can not even imagine doing the same knee twice! Bless you. I did one 1.5 yr ago. I do not want to do the other one. It really sucks. Keep at your PT.

@Goodie2shoes If you think knee replacement is difficult try hip replacement. lol Good luck to you and heal quickly.

Sorry to hear that you needed a second replacement but glad that everything looks good. What a relief.

And now please take care of your left knee. I am sure it also was put through a bit of stress through out this ordeal.

I'm so glad to read things are looking good post-op. I know having a second, corrective surgery, was terribly challenging. Hopefully you'll never revisit setbacks again.

Best wishes for an uncomplicated recovery process, with good health ahead. It's good you're getting things under control before Xmas and the NY. What a way to wrap up an otherwise awful year. You'll be feeling like a, well deserved, new you, soon. Cheers.
