Riley, it's so interresting how different CCs work in different ways in each person's hair.

Summer Mango Coconut (SMC) is fine for my hair but it just doesn't give me a lot of moisture.

I've been hoarding my Spring Orange Blossom (SOB) and Summer Honey Peach (SHP) becasue I love both scents. I know it's kind of silly, but that's just me. Smiley Happy So I really don't have a good sense as to how moisturinzing they are for me.

I'm really hoping that the December TSV is still the (5) 16oz CCs and that they have both Seasonal as well as classic options. I really want to give FIG another try this winter and see how it works for my hair. One of the reasons I'm curious is that Mandarin Italian Fig (MIF) has been so great for my hair... and FIG is in the name. Smiley Happy

I'm glad to hear that dry priming is working well for you!!

Bebe, the MIF turned my world upside down too! Maybe that means you'll also do well with FTP .....

I also did not find SHP impressive but I'm about to give that one another try as soon as I finish up my SCLV. It's been a year since I used it last..

Sometimes I just have to revisit some of these formulas! I'm about to revisit Tea Tree as well.

That's so interesting that you and Bethany found Tea Tree (TT) and Cucumber Aloe (CA) to be moisturizing. I like them but they don't give my hair a lot of additional moisture. -- I still can't use Sweet Almond Mint (SAM) because it weighs my hair down.

I've been using some Summer Mango Coconut (SMC) this summer and I didn't feel it was particularly moisturising, but I'm in the minority here. I still haven't give Summer Honey Peach (SHP) enough of a test drive to be sure about it.

The CC that has turned my world upside down though is the Mandarin Italian Fig (MIF). It gives me the perfect balance of controlled volume.

bebe, I'm afraid that MIF will turn my world upside down in a bad way.  I still have nightmares about BGT, and I haven't used that for over a year.

You're right, TT and CA don't give an excess of moisture, especially not compared to Fig.  Now that my hair is on the dry side of normal, thanks to Wen, they provide just enough moisture for me.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I am also hoping that they offer the 3 piece set of rtm, oil and cc for the FTP scent this fall.  Since we won't have any new seasonals this entire year, they may not offer this configuration at all.  If this was offered I definitely would purchase it.

I enjoyed using FTP last fall. The scent and performance were good for my hair.  However, I prefer the scent of FGP.  FAS is better performance wise for me. It gives great shine and moisture.  I found FTP a Level above SOB for moisture.  I found FTP to be less moisturizing than SHP and SMC.  In my experience, SMC is more moisturizing than SHP.  I haven't tried SHL, I hope to try it next spring. In summary, on the moisture scale:  SOB,  FTP,  SHP,  FAS,  FGP,  SMC.

@CoCo87 thanks for sharing how the Seasonals rank on your moisture scale.

This has been a really helpful thread! I've never tried any fall seasonals, but based on what I understand about scent I think this is the only one I would like. Plus, I have a totally irrational belief that because I love Mandarin Italian Fig I will also like Tuscan Pear. I am half Italian! Woman LOL
