So sorry for the miscommunication. I was thinking outloud, and probably shouldn't do that.

@bruingirl you are correct. I was thinking of calling Chaz's salon and asking them to put me on a cancellation/waitlist (if they have one), just in case someone has to cancel between now and when my appointment is next month. I imagine if such a list exists, it is quite long and it wouldn't get me to him any sooner.

I used to be able to fix my hair in less than five minutes after washing it. But since it has been growing out (quite oddly, if I do say so myself!), it's taking me longer to deal with it and what I come up with isn't very pretty.

I did find some leftover Nick Chavez SoftFlocker this morning that I thought I had finished and/or tossed out when I went all WEN. That helped a lot to make some sense of my hair before walking out the door; however, I used too much, didn't have time to wash it again, and so it looked a bit greasy! LOL!

@FleaMktQn Had to laugh at your "wings over the ears" statement! What a pain that is, right? So I brush some hair in front of the ear and some behind the ear. The top is flat now because I have no body in my thin hair. And the longer it gets, the more scalp I see! Grrrr!

Smiley Embarassed I think you will love it. I really think this is the floral scent lots of wenners have been waiting for Smiley Happy Are you the one getting your hair cut by Chaz next month?

@bruingirl Yes, I'm going next month. Although I may call and ask to be put on a cancellation list. Letting my hair grow out since mid-December is driving me nuts! ha! My usually short haircut doesn't render itself very well to growth, so it is looking really bad. Proportions are obviously off base. People at work are going "there's something different about you," but are too nice to say my hair looks bad! LOL!

But I do want him to have something to work with and not have him say: "I know a really great style for you, but your hair is too short to do it." Know what I mean? Hence, this awful in between stage. Grrrrrr!  I'm sure when I walk in he'll be thinking, "Well, none too soon! She really needs help!" Smiley LOL

Don't cancel, @World Traveler. I'll take this appointment. I am sure, we can arrange this. Maybe I can write to Cooper, if you'll agree. When is your appointment?

I was going to go anyways, but like you, wanted a little longer hair for him to work with. On the other hand, I am so tired of my non-Wen ends, so I'd rather have Chaz chop them off.

Meanwhile, I'll have a chance to ask him, if I need a color (for later) or can do with my natural just fine. I can' decide. Especially, that my ends still have color, and I want to see solid Wen hair on me before I make any color decisions. TIA! Cat Happy

@sonechko I think @World Traveler means she's going to call the salon and ask to be put on a cancellation list for an earlier appointment. If she does get an earlier appointment then her original appointment would likely go to someone on the cancellation list for that day.  I don't think Cooper can do anything in regards to giving you @World Traveler's appointment time....all of that is handled through the receptionists.

Gee. My comprehention skills gotten real BAD, @bruingirl. Especially when multi-tasking!

Thanks for catching this! I was already almost counting on this appointment...Woman LOL

I guess, I will have to just relax, and make my own "cancellation list" call!

Do it @sonechko It will be my turn to be White jealous Woman LOL

I agree! You should make an appointment, @sonechko

@World Traveler Those wingy ears are the main reason I don't want another pixie Woman LOL & there was really nothing I could do but be patient & let it grow out. So my hair does cover the bottom of my ears now Smiley Very Happy

I am excited for and envious of all of you all who are going to see Chaz! Cutting off all the poo hair will be worth it @sonechko! Hey, @World Traveler, you will look amazing as well!

For those with the pixie wings, please know I have been there and suffered with you. Sometimes I get the urge to cut it all off again, but merciful pickles how I do not want to grow it out again.

Don't @yisbuff2!!! Wear a baseball cap, a wig, a bucket, babushka scarf - Whatever you can find!

DO NOT Cut you hair. Leave it be. Soon you'll be able to pull your doggie ears back with a clip and not see for awhile..... I went through this, but survived and my hair just about to reach my shoulders, and starting to look like Wen Hair should - like a shiny wing of a bird - all strands are coming together to be part of a one system. @sonechko I am resisting the urge!! My hair is past the ears stage thank goodness. I'm now in near the shoulders when wet, but shorter when dry and curly. It is feeling a little flimsy at times, but I believe that is because the ends need a touch of shaping. I'm trying to see if I can get past the shoulders. If I can get it to the 2-3 inches past my shoulder line then I will hair enough hair to air dry most of the time I think. That will account for shrinkage with waves/curls. I have hair ambition, but sometimes the URGE oh the URGE to CUT! LOL.

Re: Wen Spring 2016 hints

[ Edited ]

Woman Happy  I know. The Urge. it does come. From the desire to look our best, and NOW.

Just imagine, @yisbuff2 - Running your fingers through, touching your long, beautiful, soft, shiny, Wen smelling hair! And volume of those soft feminine and sexy curls cascading down way pass your shoulders...... You swing them, you flip them, you loosely pin them up, if you want to, letting some fall free framing your face so beautifully.....

There is NOTHING like having LONGer WEN Hair and smelling it! You can't smell when it's short. Can you?

Wear a baseball cap, @yisbuff2! Woman LOL For now. Heart

@sonechko you are an INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER (poster?) for growing the hair. I love your description and it is exactly what I want. I'm feeling kind of frumpty dumpty but I must remember how much I do like having longer hair. Plus, if I ever have another date I like it long! LOL .

@yisbuff2 My mom has had short hair for as long as I can remember. A few years ago she decided to grow it out. I don't think it lasted more than a couple of inches before she got sick of it and decided to get a haircut. Cat Tongue
