Good luck @ANewHue! I have been some form of blonde all my life too except once when I tried to go a bit darker and the stylist screwed up and went too dark. It was like a dark brown when I wanted more of a light brown. I did NOT like the way I looked with darker hair. I guess God got it right when he made me a blonde!

Thanks @HappyDaze, well I guess we will see....  I was born with dirty blonde hair but as I aged it darkened so I colored it. my complexion is very similar to Joanne's so I think it may be a good change(fingers crossed).  Well there's no turning back now the dye arrived the other day.  My poor DH has no idea.

@jennys kid, I've got a 32oz size that I rarely use... just not a fan of the scent. 

I haveto be back home by October 20, so if you want to wait most of that bottle has your name on it... plus some GS

Just wanted to let everyone know I put off my dye appointment until tomorrow.  FYI. It wasn't because of nerves I was just too cold to want to go out.  Lol. One more day girls.

I DID IT girls, for the first time in my life I'm not a blonde.  I really love it !!  My stylist (gf) likes it so much she asked me if I would mind if she copies it.  It's a very rich color (similar to Joanne's).  I even let her straighten it .  This way maybe the DH will really notice the change.  DD really likes it.

we celebrated my "new hue" over margaritas tonight. I'm having So much fun, it's like I'm in cognito ,  can't wait to bump into folks I've known my whole life to see the reaction.  Chaz is right , change is good.  This Is the craziest thing I've done in years and it's fun.
