Re: Wen - How do you use 613?

@ChynnaBlue I had only wanted to use this about once a week as something special to put in my hair. I didn't realize you could do it as an overnight treatment. Do you just put it on your wet hair and put a cap on?

I don't use it alone, I always mix it, usually on the second cleanse or for a leave in overnight.

Re: Wen - How do you use 613?

I like to think 613 as "liquid gold" (sorry Josie Maran I'm stealing your line).. and only use 613 CC occasionally - specifically before heat styling where I need "extra protection" or if it's extra humid out. I use 613 styling products religiously though. I personally think because the scent is lighter, it's easier to mix with other formulas. It's really nice with all of the summer formulas. Smiley Happy

I don't use 613 often, but when I do, I use it as my second cleanse.

[ Edited ]

I use it added up to any other CC I use, first or second cleanse. I remember, Chaz said to always add a pump or two or 613. I don't do it always, but I am glad when I do.

Also, 613 is great overnight too. I use it in a shower, instead of a second "cleanse" just put 613 on roots portion, then put re-moist on the rest of my hair, and run my fingers through from top to the ends. Wring the hair tight-tight-tight, just like Chaz shows on a model. Pin it up in a bun, rap it up with old T, and just rinse in the morning.

I always had fantastic head of hair after such re-moist on wheels! Nice.

I always mix 613 with another formula. It's too heavy for me to use on its own.

Re: Wen - How do you use 613?

I use 613 as part of my second cleanse - it smells wonderful with SHP, and BGT.  BGT is too drying for me by it's self, but mixed with 613 is great for volume, shine, and bounce.  As others have said, 613 is a great leave in.

The one consistency I have is that TT is always my 1st cleanse.

613 alone usually makes my hair dry, so I can only use it occasionally.  When I do, I  mix it with another CC.  Since you say your hair is protein sensitive, does the overnight treatment give you different results?  Thanks!

Re: Wen - How do you use 613?

I used 613 for the first time last night.  I don't see any difference between 613 and the seasonals as far as performance.  I did mix it with SMC (slightly more 613 than SMC) and used it on the length of my hair with TT on my scalp.

Honestly, my hair looks nor feels any different than with just SMC.  I guess that's good because 613 costs more! I had a 16 oz bottle that I got in a TSV quite a while ago and decided to finally try it. I don't care for the scent, so it just sat (had tried the SC and didn't like the smell so I never opened the CC).

I will use it up, but won't repurchase.
