Re: Wen - December Chat 2015

you know what is the weirdest thing about this lawsuit and all these posts about it claiming it is "all over the news"? I have the news running almost all day long wherever I am working and I have yet to see or hear anything about it. Honestly. Now I don't watch the rag mag shows like ET and TMZ and sensationalism shows like that so perhaps that is why? I mean, I guess CNN and other real news shows have better things to report on lol.

Unfortunately where our entertainment news goes our mass media follows. It was on my local news tonight and they showed a local lady that said it made her go bald. She was a bit different than the others because it supposedly made all of her hair fallout but she hadn't sued them yet (wasn't part of the class action). They mentioned that no celebrity has  spoken out yet....and they called Chaz a celeb stylist. That is why this has gained so much track, celebs use it, and bet you anything the lawyers sent it to entertainment sources. They mentioned there is no court date because it was in mediation. The lawsuit has been around almost a year and now all of the attention? Bet they're in mediation and wouldn't be surprised if the lawyers puposley have hyped it up to help their case.

Re: Wen - December Chat 2015

In the early 1970s, I remember reading a book on the communications media by Ed Diamond called The Tin Kazoo. -- Ed taught at MIT and was one of the TV Sunday political roundtable commentators.

I'm paraphrasing the intro to the book, but here's the gist...

Two network execs are watching the live nightly news on all three major networks (back then: CBS, NBC & ABC).

The first executive says: The flames from the building, in the other network's broadcast, are higher than ours.

The second executive replies: Yes, but our nun is crying harder.

I think that says it all.

@bebe777 I think you should try a new version of your WEN holiday mixture: FGP, WCM & WWC. I just made Pumpkin Cranberry Gingerbread with an orange glaze today and it's delicious! Smells amazing too. Woman Very Happy

My logical mind thinks: why would celebrities use Wen, if there is any possibility it could cause hair loss? Don't most celebrities make a living in front of cameras and in the public eye; therefore making their outward appearance important to their livelihood?

☀️...And I think to myself what a Wenderful world.☀️
