Things I learned from Chaz on TSV day.

I have been a Wen gal for a decade. Yet, still learning. Chaz is a delightfully PERSISTENT teacher.

1. I'm probably skimping on the amount of leave-in cleanser I put in my hair.

2. I really should put ALL my styling products in my hair while it's dripping wet in the shower and not wait until I comb it out later.

3. The Wen styling comb is magical. An essential. Forgot I had one. Just found it and put it in the shower.

4. Re-moist isn't for now-and-then. Or whenever I remember. It's a weekly necessity for healthy hair (considering what we put our hair through).

5. You can do your job well, even in the midst of unbearable pain.

@1Professor WOW! I can truly say that I always learn when I listen to what he says, and I can also say that I agree with YOU 100%! The points you made are the same points I could put on my list.

Repetition really works with me. I have to hear it, hear it, and hear it again. Sometimes when he speaks, it sinks in the first time; but must admit that many times it is the umpteenth time he has said something that it finally sinks into my brain and I take action.

Thank you, Chaz!

@World Traveler lol  I think repetition works for most of us.  And I thank you for all you share with us about your personal experiences in Chaz' home base.  Feel free to repeat that, too!

Sorry to interrupt this topic, but want to post it in as many threds as possible.

Just want to ensure everyone knows that the TSV price is good thru 9/4/18, in case you want to get more. Looks like it is still free shipping/handling.  Heart

@1ProfessorI could actually feel Chaz' pain when he walked onto the set yesterday morning.  So glad you included #5 in your list!

I learned not to wash my hair with hot water. So does that mean I should wash it with cold water?

1Professor, I think you will really see a difference with regular re-moist, I know I did!  I wasn't using it regularly either, until I started a TSV that had the seasonal re-moist in it.  They smelled so good I started using them weekly.  Now I'm a convert for how any fragrance of re-moist leaves my hair, it's truly amazing.

@woodyend: Hot water opens the cuticles, cold water closes them.

So you can wash hair in tempid water (not warm not cold). Then on your last rinse use cold, to seal the cuticles—before you apply the leave-in or products . . .
