He-he-he! Ha-ha-ha! @Drythe! If we related, as I am sure we are, that must be through that Ukrainian Water! Cold from the well right onto your head!

By-the-way, I got big silk scrunchies from Japan. Three of them. I love everything Japanese and Japan related. Nipon must be my past lifes habbitat. Love sushi, all other foods, art, culture, interior/exterior of everything they make, and most of all - Japanese People.

I don't mind waiting a little until my package makes it from there. My ebay Japanese seller was so super - she sent me $5 dollars back via paypal, I guess she gave me back saving on shipping costs. But I did not ask, she already had every item after the first one at half price for shipping.

I got two silk and one cotton big scrunchies. The cotton is for doing what Chaz was talking about - twist moist by Wen replenishing spray hair and put it in a bun with a big fat 80s style scrunchie for curl in the morning. So for this reason, I thought cotton would be better. Too much moisture would destroy silk, I'd guess, quickly.

I also like big scrunchies, because I can put it on and off easily, keeping it on my wrist, so I would not mis-place it and would always know where to find it!

I saw some Japanese Silk Scrunchies on Etsy as well.

@sonechko

If there were doubts this confirms it.

I've been almost everywhere except - Japan.  My dream, my bucket list #1, going to do it!  I want to go and stay in one of the Ginza type hotels and look at pearls!  I have collected old Japanese Woodblock prints for years, have purchased old kimonos which hang in my home,  and my absolute decorating style is Asian / Deco.

I've had experience with Ukraine well pumps as you might remember, so that must be it.

@Drythe @sonechko, this may be interesting to you, or not...my mom's family are descendants of the samurai class (Sakai clan).

@sailor_moon! Wow! What an honor to converse here with a member of a Sakai Samurai Clan. Just like any royalty, this must be transfered on the descendants forever and ever. Wow again! My high regards to you Salor Moon! Does your hair in any way looks like Japanese hair? Because, this is my favorite hair type. That and true Swidish blond with straight hair.

Re: The right way to use Re-Most

Hello Friends,

The two bamboo twist hair drying towels arrived today from ReallySlowStuff!  I must say even though they sent me white instead of the GREEN I clearly ordered, they are really soft and I can see why they would be preferred over other material.  Love the bamboo button closure.

When I save up some patience I'm going to order a couple more, and maybe a few other things.

Sitting here with my bamboo turbie on looking quite fetching I thought.  However, when my youngest Lab caught a glimpse of me he barked and barked!  Guess he thought I had brought home another animal that was perched on my head.  Put me in my place - in his opinion I just look silly!

What a lovely picture you painted with your words @DrytheSmiley HappyI clearly got a feel of the entire scene, and even the sound effect of your Lab barking..... Enjoy your bamboo turbie and let me know, if you see any difference in a way how it is drying your hair.Heart

Re: The right way to use Re-Most

@Drythe, yes l have been to Japan with my mom, when I was 17. I don't remember how long we stayed because, of the constant activity, of visiting and socializing with family, touring, shopping and eating... lots of eating🍤🍚🍙🍜🍱🍣🍑🍘.

@sonechko, I am half black so my hair is a mixture of two different types. My hair is very versatile, which means it  can be worn, straight, wavy or curly, depending on which styling method I use; however, because it's very thick/coarse and I have little patience, I do a wash'n'go and wear it curly. Unlike before Wen when I would put my hair in curlers before bed, sleep on hard pink plastic torture devices; and in the morning I would flat iron my hair, because my hair would be in the exact same shape of the plastic rollers. My hair has strong curl memory, so luckily I was born after the soup can curl era, otherwise my hair would have resembled a pyramid of soup cans.Woman Frustrated

Re: The right way to use Re-Most

Woman Happy So, I was really way off with your hair @sailor_moon! Looks like it is totally different, but as long as it is healthy, shiny Wen hair, I am sure it looks great without any soup can curlers or straighteners!

My hair is so slippery straight, I am worried already if it is going to hold that Japanese silk scrunchiie?!!! But it's so lovely, I am going to make it stick, even if I have to use a super glue for this reason! Cat Happy

Hi @FleaMktQn! I'll answer this question - I did get a shipment notification from SimplySlowestStuff e-mail. But I already saw the order being shipped logging in and checking with a status of my order on their site.

Even though, I was the first to submit an order with them, my order contained an item they did not have in stock - bamboo wash cloth. @Drythe,  I understand had only two turbies order, and they happened to have these in stock. She got wrong color of course, but who cares? With the company like this, one better be happy to get anything at all!

She ordered, I believe on 22nd and received today on 31st, so it was not not that terribly long. Q can beat the SimplySlowestStuff by being even slower any day!

Happy Halloween! Heart

@sonechko  I ordered on the 22nd & haven't heard a word since the order confirmation email immediately after the order was placed. I guess I'll call them Monday to see what the holdup is. My status is still processing, it's only been 6 business days & they allow themselves 5. Anyway it's nothing I need right away.

Love the pic of the grey Heart

I always get my orders from the Q very fast, I think it's cuz I'm close to all the warehouses they ship from.
