@Beautoxica sometimes products just don't work, or don't work the way we want! I love the mousse generally, but I'm finding that the SHP isn't as good for my hair as some of the others. When I have something I don't like as much, but it doesn't harm my hair, I shift into using it just for hold when doing an updo. However, sometimes you just have to toss something. VTS just NEVER worked for me, and it dried my hair. I just ate the loss, and avoid configurations of it in the future.

@yisbuff2 SHP was the first mousse I tried and I really couldn't tell any difference in my hair so I almost didn't want to try any other mousse if that's how they were going to work for me. I was amazed when I tried the 613 mousse and it worked completely different!
I also haven't had much luck with the VTS although I just tried mixing it with the SC today and that seemed to work pretty well!

@HSB1204 thanks for sharing! It is so funny to me how some things can be SO great, and others are just meh. I never would have thought WWC would be the holy grail of perfect curls, but it is. SHP isn't terrible, but like you said it is kind of meh. Luckily the scent is EVERYTHING. I think I am just a bamboo water girl. I didn't try the SCLV though because I loathe verbena, and suspect that would be stink to me.
I'm glad you found a way to make the vts work! I'm finding ways to use the tts that are not exactly as good as some results people are having, but work. Sometimes stuff just magically starts working in my hair too for no good reason. Hair is funny!

@yisbuff2, lol, just to make things a bit more interesting... Chaz mentioned that the Summer Coconut Lime Verbena (SCLV) CC has bamboo water in it. ![]()
Also, I love the scent of verbena and I can't find it in the SCLV... only lime with a coconut after kick (which I'm not a fan of). -- From what I've read, most people seem to notice the coconut and lime notes... but not much (if any) verbena. ![]()
I think that may be the only Seasonal CC that has bamboo water complex in it. -- Since it's the most recent Seasonal created, I wonder if Chaz might be adding the bamboo water to upcoming Seasonals. ![]()

@bebe777 I want bamboo water in EVERYTHING! I heard that about the SCLV, but I was too afraid it would smell bad. Perhaps it is worth a try since I love lime and coconut (drink it all up
). I could have tried it with the ODO, but alas. I don't think it is the end times though. I keep reminding myself that I can PACE a bit and don't have to be so worried things will be gone forever since something marvelous always comes in later.
Picking up from our previous conversation, I am going to stick with the SHP. I did a terrible job with the brush today, but I will work on it. It just smells TOO GOOD.

@yisbuff2 I'm not a fan of the SCLV scent so in my opinion you're not missing out. ![]()
I do have the WWC mousse but since I have so many other bottles of mousse I have to admit that I haven't used it that much yet. I may try experimenting with it. My hair used to be stick straight but now it has decided to be wavy so I'm trying to figure out how to have a good hair day with waves.
Based on the reviews so far of the TTS I don't think it's for me since my waves are kind of weak and need a strong hold to stay it seems.

My hair always feels dirty when I use the mousse and it tangles really badly too. I can use up to 3 pumps on my thick shoulder blade length hair before it feels that way, and of course using only 3 pumps I don't get anything out of it. I've only tried the pom and the bgt scents but I don't intend on purchasing any others just from my experience with these 2. My hair, natural curls or blown out straight seem to do much better using just 2 pumps sc and 3 pumps gs mixed with 3/4 pump cc. as my leave in.

@kesstrain and @Beautoxica - I have hair just like you both described - wavy, not curly and frizzes big time! It's about down to my shoulder blades now. I try my best to air dry in the hotter months as I feel like I'm having a heat stroke when I use my dryer in 87% humidity and 90* temps but when I air dry I look like I've stuck my finger in a light socket! My hair looks and feels so much better when I can blow dry it straight with my the WEN large boar bristle brush. I have frizzy hair with tons of fly aways...sometimes I often wonder if WEN is really doing it's job with my hair so I try using a store brand poo and yep...right back to WEN...it's just my hair type I guess. My 9 year old has the same hair, but less frizz and a tad more curl than I have and it's absolutly beautiful on her. I too cannot use 613 as it dries my hair out big time. I kept finding split ends and I finally figured out it was the 613. The 319 works wonderfully...I love it! Hoping to get it in a gallon. As far as the mousse...it makes my hair feel dirty, almost sticky and does nothing for my waves/curls. My routine...tt as my first cleanse, one of the seasonals or 319 for my 2nd cleanse, 3/4 pump cc mixed 3 pumps gs and 2 pumps sc as my leave in. I use a turbie and when I take my hair down I use 2-3 drops of oil on the high humidity days. I remoist when I think about it...about once a month and use the oils a couple times a week. Seems to really help.

@simollie I'm glad you mentioned how your hair feels with the mousse. My hair doesn't feel right after I use it, no matter how much or little I use. It feels dirty, sticky and doesn't work for my curls. My hair is far more curly than it is wavy, but I think I've found a good thing in the glossing shine serum It seems to do pretty good work.

@Beautoxica, I really do think it's a shame that the Wen Mousse doesn't work for you... that said, I start to giggle every single time I read the name of your thread. ![]()
