I'm so confused. Tonight on the show she's talking about K18molecular repair hair.
She talked about how much she loves it? When Chaz Dean is on she goes on & on about his products. WEN saved my hair. So, which one does she really like & use?

If I remember correctly Sandra did not present both items. Shawn presented the Wen and Sandra and Alberti presented k18

Yes, but in past presentations she has. I just don't understand saying you just love all of this stuff. I sometimes buy because of the host talking about how great a product is. I trust them to be truthful since I'm purchasing from the TV. I guess I'm foolish.

I brought this question up to Corporate QVC in the 90's. One month a host, who I trusted, would be presenting a produce and say how great it was. You were under the impression back then they were shipped products to try, or that is what the host told us on air! The next month it would be another beauty (same type for same results) product that was being used by the same host and great. I would think in order to see if a product really worked it should be tried for a couple of months. So based on that PLUS NO RESPONSE from Corporate, I would read reviews and very rarely try a product.

i even suggested to Corporate that they have one host always present the same product.🤷🏻‍♀️

My take is that one could expect this of the brand rep or the "brand ambassador" (product loyalty) but not necessarily the host.

Both the host and the rep are there to sell something to you. Be careful what you choose to believe. Everything can't be the best thing ever.

One difference between the host on a shopping channel and the salesperson in a local store is how many people can be influenced in a day, but i know all the way back to the 1950's the store clerks working the beauty counters offered what I felt amounted to their opinions.

My life has changed more in the last 5 years than during any other 5 years I can think of. Once I said that aloud to myself, changing my shopping habits has gotten easier, and one tactic I use is avoiding the shopping channels unless I already know what I need to find.

I always spend some time reading or writing on the Forum, but I doubt I will see even 2 minutes of TV shopping all weekend.

Why can't she use both? I do, plus several other products--including an Aveda shampoo, an Oribe styling cream and a few different leave in products. I'm a hair product junkie so always switching around.

K18 and Wen are two completely different products for different uses. However, as pointed out upthread, Sandra is a salesperson.

I have a lot of products that I use depending on what is going on with my hair and what style it is in. Some styles require a bunch of stuff and others a brush and some gel.So today my favorite might be one thing and next hair style something else. When I go to the salon my stylist'spends a few minuetes evaluating my hair Nd scalp before my service begins.
