Sweet Almond Mint is lovely.  It's universal, for all hair types.  Anyone can use it and get great results.

This may help:

  • Sweet Almond Mint: a universal cleanser that doesn't weigh hair down; for all hair types, especially those with fine-to-medium hair
  • Fig: a rich-density cleanser that helps to moisturize, hydrate, and replenish hair; for all hair types, it contains moisturizing properties for medium-to-coarse and wavy-to-curly hair
  • Tea Tree: exceptional for dry, flaky scalps; for all hair types, it has moisturizing properties for medium-to-coarse and wavy-to-curly hair
  • Cucumber Aloe: ideal for oily scalps and dry hair; for all hair types, it's exceptional for fine-to-medium hair
  • Lavender: formulated for all hair types, particularly dry or color-treated hair; great for creating volume without weighing hair down
  • Pomegranate: formulated for all hair types to add moisture without weighing hair down

Some of my best results come from using TT as first cleanse and SAM as second cleanse.

@77yangya This summer I got the travel-size packs of the classics. I wanted to see if my hair needs had changed, so each day I tried a different classic. The last time I did that was right before I became a WEN gal, three years ago in the spring, right before the June gallons were coming out.

For me, it is still Tea Tree and Lavender that work the best.

Cucumber Aloe completely dries out my hair.

I did not find anything special happening on my hair using the universal ones, Sweet Almond Mint or Pomegranate, just another scent for me.

The Fig was a bit much for my hair; probably need to cut the golf all down in half on my hair.

Just found the whole experiment with trying each one a good exercise to ensure my hair needs haven't changed.

@World Traveler

For the last several days...enjoyed your posts...really are wealth of information.

In the past tried Wen BGT in the beginning worked very well...then not so much.

Decided on trying September's TSV having never used the classics wasn't sure which would be helpful for my silver wavy short hairstyle. Definitely not CA.

Leaning towards TT scalp benefits sounds especially nice.

@Sweet_Serenity Good to see you again! Smiley Happy

I love and use Tea Tree every day, so I hope it works well for you.

The BGT or anything that is rice-based does not work for me at all. Dries out my hair, so I stay away from them.

Please be sure to check back in with us and let us know how it goes. Heart

(By the way.....loved the thread you started on plant-based whole foods. Very interesting. So pleased to hear that it did wonders for you.)

Thank you! Do appreciate your sharing your experiences. Yes! PBL Rocks.
