Does anyone know if the formulas that are going to be retired will be permanent or if we may occasionally be able to purchase them?  Just wondering if anyone heard them discussing this on QVC.  I almost never watch QVC and only watch Wen shows if I am home.

When Chaz put the first round of seasonals in the vault I think it was 2 or 3 years before they showed up.  In sept 2016 we will be getting new seasonals so I'm hoping its for 2 years.  I really don't think Chaz will retire any scents forever.  Although they may not be as popular as other scents he's aware that many do love FAS, WCM and SGGT.  Although I like the newer scents I'm more attached to the older scents.

beaches ( @ANewHue ), that was my thought as well. Chaz knows how much we like our particular scents and he does his very best to make them available to us (lol, he really pampers us *s*).

I really, really, really like Fall Apple Spice and Spring Gardenia Green Tea. I just used some Winter Cranberry Mint on my hands and legs last night and I'm liking it more and more. Smiley Happy

Below is the timetable for when the various Seasonals have been available (excluding when they showed up in various TSVs and out of season OTOs).

@bebe777 I really like SGGT too and it's wonderful mixed with tea tree .  I finally got to experience the oil and RTM last year.  That's another one I'll be stocking up on since I'm down to half a 16 oz bottle. No we know which Summer scent if any is going into the vault?

beaches ( @ANewHue ), lol, don't tease me like this. I'm already planning on stocking up on Spring Orange Blossom and it looks like I'm going to have to get the Replenishing Treatment MIst (RTM)... I already have the Treatment OIl. *sigh* It seems like I may have to add Spring Gardenia Green Tea (SGGT) Treatment Oil and maybe the RTM. Smiley Wink

I don't think anyone has any idea of which summer scent might be retired. I'm thinking that maybe the Summer Coconut Mango may go back into the Vault simply because it's been available for so long. I think that the Summer Honey Peach is safe because it's one of Chaz's favorite CCs... as well as a Wenner fave. Smiley Wink

Lol @bebe777 just when you think you're safe Chaz pulls this "retirement" thing on us,  i have to admit when it comes to Wen I'm more of the Fall/winter type.  Whom I kidding I really do enjoy all the seasonals.  If SMC is retiring I'll have to stock up on the oil and RTMs too.   I think Summer is going to be expensive between stocking up on SMC and SHP.My oil drawer is full so now I have to find yet another hiding spot.

Thanks for all of the responses.  I hope that you are right that the retired formulas will be available occasionally.

I don't believe that any of the summer seasonals are going to be retired.  At least, none were mentioned as being retired.  I think they are all very popular.

I guess until Chaz tells us that certain formulas are going to be retired we won't really know what is going to happen and whether or not they'll come back.

@Susan25 @HSB1204 and @ANewHue, grrrr... I'm a bit annoyed with the older threads we've lost due to this new forum system.

There was this great  A Wen for All Seasons -- it sounds like they going to make the prior Wen Seasonals available again ....  thread (which is in the page two of the Wen 101 thread... and, of course, now the thread is *poof* gone... oh, well... Smiley Sad

The reason I wanted to access the thread is that this was when -- a few years ago --Chaz first hinted that past Seasonals might be coming back. I actually typed out the conversation between Chaz and the host as they teased us with cryptic hints.

What was important about this conversation was the pure glee Chaz was having in teasing us with his hints. It made it crystal clear that he understood how attached we all were to these retired formulas and how absolutely thrilled he was in being able to bring them back.

Based on that, I feel that Chaz really understands how attached we each are to individual formulas and that, in the future, he will be doing his darnest to convince QVC to bring the retired formulas back out of the Wen Vault.

My guess would be that we probably won't see these formulas back for a few years. Maybe the'd be available again between Fall 2017 - Summer 20018. Anyway, that's my guess, so I'm stocking up on the likely to be retired Seasonals with that time frame in mind.

@Susan25 @bebe777 @HSB1204 @ANewHue Maybe I am dreaming, but I thought Chaz said 2 formulas were being retired this year. I think that is different then reaching the end of their rotation. So far, except for gallons, it seems they come out for three years, then go into the vault and he said that when that happens, if it comes back it won't be for 2-3 years.

I took the  retirement thing to mean it is never coming back. We all speculated which those would be and I think the consensus was FAS and SGGT, which is why I am buying 2 SGGT oils in the Spring. I am still banking on those two, because people found SGGT drying (me included-but loved it anyway) and also they didn't like the addition of ylang ylang to the oil so that it didn't smell exactly like the CC (I love that too.) And we all know what the issue was with FAS (although for me it is moisturizing and the maple does make your hair shine.)

Do any of you ladies recall that statement about 2 formulas being retired? I think it was from Periscope. We definitely discussed retiring formulas here.
