Re: Protein in shampoo, question

@MalteseMomma  CA is the most astringent CC so if you don't have an oily scalp/oily hair that might explain your issue. I have a very oily scalp but only ever use CA for my first cleanse.

Re: Protein in shampoo, question

@jaxs mom

Thanks - that's what I was trying to figure out - that I indeed needed the correct balance of protein and moisture.

I'll probably be ordering CA or TT since I have more fig coming in A-D.  My bangs have been getting oily so I'm thinking first cleanse with CA or TT and Fig for the second cleanse.

Maybe the Light CC will be a good change too since it is rice protein.  Now that I think of it, I had good luck with WEN Men before (also rice).

Re: Protein in shampoo, question

I used my old standby Pantene for about a week .Hair was looking good but today I just had to use my WEN again. My hair is best with the Lavender,always was my fav. ,so I guess it makes sense to stick with what works best....lol......

Thanks everyone for the replies.

It will say on the ingredient list.

The only shampoo I know off  that does not have protien in it that im aware of is Pantene. pantene has gotten better they reformulated them this year and they are very moisterizing and creamy now.

Not all protien shampoos are bad. Redken designs their shampoos to not have a protien buildup ( I asked them) . I Use Redken extreme  and have soft  repaired shiney hair. No protien buildup. I really like  it.  I also use Paul mitchell.  Almost zero lather on most of their poos and very gentle and very low low sulfates in it  and full of natural extracts
