Thanks to you ladies here I knew to turn into tonight and I picked up the ODO. I typically am not a floral person, and I actually haven't ever smelled this scent, but I went for it. My all time fave is Gardenia Green Tea. I am super scent-sensitive and migraine prone, but I can actually wear Chaz's scents, and while I typically don't go for florals, my brain is so used to associating florals with synthetic scents that give me migraines that I was willing to give this a try. I do like how peonies smell and I think I also like jasmine so it's worth a shot! Worst case, I send it back.

Hello my dear Winners! Help!
I'm so looking forward to Chaz's visit - not that I'll actually SEE him, as I'm working. But I want to try the PJP & this visit seems my only chance till October. The CC is a no-brainer but I'm concerned about the notes in the ESP & NBT. Are they heavily floral or are there other scents to temper the sweetness? Any info is appreciated as I'm SO not a floral scent-lover! Thanks!

@Chefgal411

To my nose and body chemistry I find this edp to be a rather old fashioned soft powdery rose scent. For a blink of an eye I smelled lemon then, curiously, bubble gum (sweet?) when applying it earlier this evening. Both only lasted a very short time before the soft rose bloomed. I do sense something slightly green below this rose scent yet am unable to determine clearly any other notes as the powder scent is very dominant on me.

I found the CC to be powdery also yet love the volume and brightening effect it has on my natural highlights.

SHP and SHL are my two most favorite edp's so far... I can discern and do very much enjoy the complexities in the top, mid and base notes every time I wear these these fabulous scents.

@rochelleS I am so glad you mentioned the bubble gum scent.  I get that with PJP only when I use WRC as the first cleanse.  I thought it was very strange, considering neither alone (to my nose) smells like bubble gum. 🤔😊

@BExplorer

I guess I should say how glad I am that you mentioned the bubble gum too. Surely thinking everyone would think I bumped my head or worse. Yep, it's there and after the sample test for @Chefgal411, I can detect it on my wrists today. I thought it had dissapated but noticed it again as it settled during the night ... Pink Bazooka, right out of my childhood memories. I haven't noticed this with the CC only the edp. I do wish there was a stronger jasmine note though. I haven't researched pink jasmine but having grown the night blooming white jasmine variety had me hoping for a hint of this heady captivating scent. Maybe others pick up some jasmine. I'd love to hear that and just chalk it up to my chemistry. Nonetheless there will be many who'll adore this fragrance and for that I'm truly delighted.

@rochelleS, pink jasmine is even more captivating than white, if it's even possible, but much more so! Cat Happy

I just ordered PJP ODO, but having seconds thoughts on it..... especially after reading your posts...... I do love PJP CC in every way, but was not really impressed with replenishing mist. Don't like it all that much.

Maybe I'll cancel my purchase, oh I don't know.

I so want you to be happy with this and any Wen purchase. I really toyed with posting my experience. Not wanting to create any dissension or ill will on the board. Everyone is so different so I opted to be as clear and diplomatic in sharing my thoughts. A couple things come to mind... change to check hold and look for a sample on ebay. You'll have time to convert your ODO order if you're happy with the edp tester, having spent alot less than returning product. Secondly, what if any edp's have you tried ... and liked? Maybe we have had similar experiences and I'll gladly compare notes (no pun) with you. Any way I can help, I'm certainly available.

@sonechko I just ran over to eBay for a quick search of any PJP edp samples and there are none to be found this evening.

Plan B. Try it, you may love it, if not you know the drill. I'm still here to assist in any way!

If anybody is still interested, there's alot of PJP edt that has just been listed on eBay. Sample sizes available. I searched Wen perfume and refined to 'newly listed.' HTH'S

Thank @rochelleS for all your help and input! Heart I meant to respond a while ago, but got busy and then forgot.....  I ended up cancelling PJP perfume....Woman Sad Well, I have a few bottles of other Wen fragrance, and can do without another one for a while. I do have a sample of PJP perfume from the minies set I got in December. I like it okay, not too much though. So, this will wait! I loaded up on Isomers this weekend, and I am waiting for Chaz to roll out Light CC, and whatever other things that go in this scent. Woman LOL

You are so welcome @sonechko. I didn't realize you had this from the sampler set. Me too. At least you know what it smells like. I'd like to try a tester of the Winter White Citrus. My GF says it's a very light and delicate fragrance on her. I'd love to see a dominant and rich well rounded pink grapefruit come out of Chaz's creations too someday. I can only wish...

I love and appreciate all of your Isomers input. See you on the other forum♡

I got both sets of sampler perfume, @rochelleS. Strangely enough, I only opened PJP, the one I was curious about the most....

I thought, well later, later..... and then I came up with a cold and later with a  flu, for almost whole month now.  I can't smell ANYTHING at all!  Totally lost all sense of smell. It's kinda scary a little, what if smell does not come back?

Life looses a huge portion of it's dimension without being able to smell anything.

I can't smell coffee. I can't smell garlic a millimeter from my nose, or perfume sprayed straight into my face!  Nada. So weird. This was a big part, why I was not much into spending almost $90 with ship and tax on a bottle of something I can't even smell at the moment!

The other forum? I usually into it, but not this visit. I'd be happily participating, if I would see a need for my input. I did not see such a need at this time. There were a few questions put forward, but I would not know how to answer those anyways.

So, I was busy on Isomers FB instead. We had Manuela joined in today! We also had posts from my favorite host - Wendy Russo, who is a member. It was lots of fun there this visit!
