@Puppymom1 I've read all posts.  I too agree that you are not using enough product.  I do two cleanses, first golfball with tea tree (leave on longest while bathing) and second golfball with seasonal.  I comb through final cleanse.  Rinse thoroughly and then add leave in, CC if air drying or styling cream if using hairdryer.  I thought i would add that chazdean.com has a section called Tips & Tricks that may provide some ideas how to get best results.  He recommends foam rollers.  Also, their number is on every bottle, so you can get ideas there. Given time,  you will be able to tell by how your hair "feels" if you need an additiional cleanse.  Sometimes when i use oils, it may take an additional cleanse.  Embrace your thick straight hair!  One of Chaz's models has short straight hair that is turned under, so pretty.  Best to you.

You guys are the BEST!!  Another quick question......Does it  matter if you have soft water, hard water, well water, etc??  I am using hard, well water and feel like I could rinse forever.

@Puppymom1Absolutely hard versus soft water matters.  I also have super-hard well water, and that means I need more CC and more water to get the same level of cleansing others get with less CC and soft water.  If your water is hard, I would absolutely suggest using more CC than you currently do.  Your hair may be two inches shorter than mine, for instance, but if it's even 25% thicker, then you have more hair than I do, and should be using at least as much, if not more CC than I do.  I use six pumps of TT for a first cleanse, and five pumps of a seasonal for the second cleanse.  Try bumping up your CC a pump or two, make sure to get it really wet and frothy, and I will bet you stop seeing "yucky" days.

@Puppymom1

If you don't have a filter shower head that might help also...We currently have soft water (which is amazing) but before that we did not..

.We got a good shower head filter & that helped with the hard water we had in out last house..Smiley Happy

Me too, CamilleP.  We have very hard water.  It's not well water but still VERY hard water.  I need to rinse thoroughly.  I use a lot and Dooters is right.  Tea Tree yields great results.  I may have it on auto delivery.  However, like Chaz said too, anything that lathers has sulfates in it and will strip.  Sometimes things come across my radar screen and I try them but I'm steady Wen.  It just is so gentle and it really is the only thing that makes my hair soft, supple with incredible shine.  My hair has not been like this since I was 19......

We have hard water, too, and for my hair length (see my avatar) I use 10 pumps Tea Tree for 1st cleanse, then 10 pumps of seasonal/blessing for 2nd cleanse.  I do get both cleanses really frothy and rinse well.  Never any issues here in the wild blue yonder!
