I'm sure everyone remembers me whining in September about all my orders that went to backorder after days of being in process. It's happened again. I ordered a bunch of the Seasonal TSV's and they are all sitting on backorder. I could switch them to the rice base formula but I really wanted the seasonals for gifts.
It's not just my orders of Wen that have gone on backorder. I've had 11 other orders that won't be fullfilled because they're on backorder. Food items that were suppose to have shipped out on the 7th but never moved after billing information received. It's very frustrating and irritating.
I'm finished ordering from QVC. As for my Wen, I'm going to order directly from the salon. I don't even mind paying the extra monies. I know I'll get what I order.
@bebe777 My appointment with Chaz is February 5th.

Did you call customer service? I've never seen something on back order, but many times it says "billing information received" for a long time and then a day after it changes it's delivered. The post office doesn't seem to have the same detailed tracking system and the package seems to fall off the radar until it's in my area.
How do you get an appointment with Chaz and how much does it cost. I'll understand if you don't want to answer that fully. Does he ever go to Boston? I'd love to have color done by him, as my hairdresser isn't very creative with that. I love my hairdresser and I've been with her for 12 years, but she's not on Chaz's level. Not many are.

I've seen others be disappointed when an order goes to backorder or gets cncelled, but more than a dozen orders in less than3 months? Just plain weird - there's something we're not being told.
Assuming the best, I'd be on the phone to CS - no emails unless you want to send one AFTER you talk to CS confirming what you were told, no whining here becasue we can't do a thing except "listen," etc.
Go where you at least have a chance to get help, OP.
We won't even talk about how many orders I've done over the years with QVC - and exactly one order went to waitlist - and I got that one although QVC actually had to extend my 45-day wait time whioch I agreed to. I have no idea what I wanted that badly, but since I remember the process, I guess it was something I really thought I wante. lol

Odd.

@Petrilla I would be embarrassed to say the amount of orders I've placed with QVC in the last year, if I even knew the number. Even so, the ONLY orders of mine that were not filled are items that were already on waitlist when I placed the order, or an auto-delivery item where the additional shipment was cancelled (only once). I've never seen anything go to "backorder" or change to waitlist after I placed my order. There is something very bizarre about the frequency with which that happens to you. I hope CS can help, but I almost think you may need to talk to someone in the corporate office.

I agree with Aprimo, call corporate. Last year both myself and and a friend had ordered the December Seasonal TSV. It went into process then backorder, ultimately canceled. I spoke with at least six CS reps to no avail. I even was told that it was Wen's fault as they'd undershipped. I even called the shop looking for help in getting my order.I was told the shortage was coming from the Q. A few months later I had to call corporate and mentioned this and my huge disappointment. I was told I should have called their office for assistance when this happened. Of course it was too late but hopefully you may get someone to sort this out for you now. Give it a shot and wishing you happy fulfillment results!

@rochelleS @aprimo @icezeus @millieshops @Ms X
I sent a message to Linda Cooper on FB about it. She's told me in the past when it comes to Wen going into backorder, it's because the Q has over-sold. I was whining to her this morning because she was sending me some things that I had requested and she told me not to cancel my orders. Chaz is fullfilling all the backorders. They won't be there prior to Christmas but he's fixing the Q's error.
He's so amazing. He really does take care of everyone to the best of his ability. Just one little reason I absolutely adore him.

That's great Petrilla! This may sound naive to some, but I do think Chaz cares about his customers and wants to do right by them, to the extent that he can.

@PetrillaGlad you'll get what you wanted.
By the way, there's no real way for any of us to know for sure what creates the inventory problem although both QVC and Chaz' company should have a handle of the numbers as we order. (I buy WEN - just not this time) Chaz has to agree to sell his product to QVC at the right price to get that TSV volume, so it's in his own interest to hold back product in case it doesn't get ordered. Then he can sell it elsewhere for more, but I bet once it's in QVC warehouses, he loses control of the pricing. I'm not 100% sure about the WEN, but I know elsewhere that procedure is true.
Overall, though, we don't really need to care as long as we get what we want. All the rest is someone else's issue.

Some years ago, while talking to a man, my seat mate on an airplane, he said he was just coming from HSN, in the conversation he mentioned his product was purchased by them for a flat amount, he had no idea what price they would put on it, don't know if that holds true today & of course for the big sellers might be different, I'm sure they have agents to negotiate
