@World Traveler I have benefitted from @bebe777 suggestion about the extra SC! Also, I started using a t-shirt @bebe777 and it really does make a difference. When I default to my towel now I can tell.

@yisbuff2 Thank you for your comments. It appears @bebe777 continues to be the go-to person for all things WEN!  Heart

I will give the T-shirt method a try, rather than my terry cloth turban wrap.

Re: Is this the right sequence to using WEN?

@World Traveler, My steps are very similar to what @bebe777 outlined.  I do comb through each leave-in product before applying the next, I mix 5 sprays of volumizer with my SC and I mix the glossing serum with either the leave-in CC or the mouse.  I also love to apply mouse to second day hair after dampening with RTM.  It gives it amazing volume.

@lyn in MI Oh, I do believe this is the first time I have read someone doing the mousse the second day. That could be because I just started using the mousse and wasn't paying attention. Interesting. I'll have to try that.

This morning I put everything on at one time. Next time I will try doing them one at a time and combing each thru. Not sure if I will see any difference, but love trying out everyone else's way of doing the supporting products. Thanks!

BTW....I usually hear from you regarding Perricone products. Smiley Happy

Re: Is this the right sequence to using WEN?

@World Traveler - I'm a long time WENner and even cleanse with cool/cold water.  I use the oils nightly before a cleanse and I use the Re-Moist every 7 - 10 days.  I have long, fine, unprocessed hair and WEN works well for me.  Tea Tree CC is the formula I use on my scalp and I use other formulas on the balance of my hair.  My favs are the rice formulas and the seasonals.  I mix a little 613 (CC on second cleanse, SC & Mouse) into my routine.

Chaz recommended using Mouse on dry/day two hair on a QVC visit and I decided to give it a try.  I spray with RTM, apply Mouse and then comb through, twist my hair and clip it up.  Once it dries, I take it down and the result is beachy, wavy hair with tons of volume.

@World Traveler...indeed t-shirts make a difference. I plop all the time and my curls are better than they ever were in a turbie. No frizz! Tomorrow will be interesting because I just got all my hair cut off into a pixie. I hope I have enough for little baby curls. If not, Tea Tree here I come!

@SurferWife Oh, I can't wait to hear about your experiences after your hair is cut! And I understand about the tea tree. I'm sure it is the reason I get my hair cut every month instead of every six weeks!

(I thought I already posted this, but it is not showing up....if it pops up later, sorry for the duplication,)

@SurferWife I am anxious to hear about how it turns out after you cut your hair. And I know what you mean about the tea tree. I used to have my hair cut every six weeks; now it is every four weeks! That stuff rocks!

Re: Is this the right sequence to using WEN?

WorldTraveler, I think the easiest way to remember it is that, you add the heaviest products first and end with the lightest products. btw, I love your new name. Smiley Wink Best of luck!!! -- bebe Smiley Happy

Based on what' I've heard Chaz say, I'd make the following modifications to your list:

CLEANSE YOUR HAIR

1. Cleanse -- two cleanses, splitting the CC between both cleanses

LEAVE-IN PRODUCTS

2. Cleansing Conditioner

3. Styling cream -- use more SC if you air dry your hair

4. Glossing serum -- applied with either the Styling Creme or the Cleansing Conditioner

5. Mousse

Note: Apply each of the leave-in products -- one right after the other -- to soaking wet hair, while you are still in the shower.

DRYING YOUR HAIR

* lightly squeeze your hair dry with a 100% cotton T-shirt (so as not to rough up the cuticles of your hair). -- Don't use a terry cloth towel.

SECOND DAY HAIR, or at any other time

7. Replenishing Treatment Mist (RTM) throughout the day or as needed

Note: You can use the RTM to refresh your hair every day between your cleanses.

Re: Is this the right sequence to using WEN?

Ita on how as my hair got better my amount of sc was higher. I started out using one pump on hair past my bra strap and now I use one pump in chin length hair.

My routine is as follows:

First cleanse with 3-5 pumps FF
Second cleanse with 5-7 pumps seasonal (thick hair )
Leave in about a pump of whatever
1 pump SC of choice
Glossing serum (amount varies)
Put hair up in a flour sack towel (I get these at Walmart usually, they are like tshirts)
Once I take it down I may spray rtm and add a seasonal oil on the ends after I round brush it dry with my wen brushes.
