Finally mousse success!

Hi guys, just wanted to share that after all this time, I finally found a way to make the mousse work for me. I find that adding even like 40 pumps to dripping wet hair made absolutely no difference in my hair. Adding it to half-dry hair made it a bit dull.
Anyway, I have about 3 bottles of mousse and I decided to try one more thing- I added about 1/3 a dropper of oil into my palm full of mousse and scrunched it into my half- dry hair.
OMG- my hair dried with tons of volume and shine. I am so happy.
I think I may have to get some 319 mousse now so that I can use different oils on different days without competing with the smell of the mousse.
Do any of you know if Chaz is planning on doing any fall (FTP/FGP) mousses? I know there was some mention a while back about a WVM mousse.

Glad you found what works! He did have FTP mousse last year and as its my favorite scent I will be looking forward to it this year. It may be in special sets as it was last year.

@nikki48 I can't believe I missed that- I love FTP as well. I was a little upset when I realized that I had missed the opportunity to get some mousse during summer but I only would have wanted the SMC and I don't think the kits with the summer mousses came in SMC.

I guess I will wait and see what happens. I just feel a bit panicked b/c I am so well stocked on everything else and only have a couple of bottles of mousse.

O/T- has anyone come up with any goid uses for the SC other than in the hair? I recently stopped using it and I have about 8 bottles that I don't want to waste. I wonder if they would work as some sort of protectant on the skin - like to seal in moisture or prevent dehydration.?

@kesstrain and @nikki48 -Right now both the FTP and FWVP mousse are available on Chaz's site - hopefully it will come soon to QVC. I will have to try adding the oil - I love the WEN mousse!

Thanks @qtrmoonlady1. I appreciate the head's up. I will wait and see what kkinds of kits Chaz brings to the Q. Fingers crossed on a kit with FTP like the amazing summer kits like the CC/mousse combo. This past summer IMHO had the best deals on kits- the CC, oil, RTM was an insane value- I bought 5 in SMC!

If you are looking to stock up and your hair likes the rice formulas try the rice duo. I am loving the BGT right now and going back for the MIF. 2 bottles for $50 is also a good discount. I am waiting to see if it goes on special when Chaz arrives.

I was thinking about getting the mousse next week. Does it make your hair stiff or sticky? Does it hold?

Not stiff at all! It makes my curls "pop" and they are shiny, defined and bouncy. I use it on my soaking wet hair so it melts and blends right in. Don't think traditional mousse.
