This morning I washed my hair using the new Fresh Apple. It is a keeper! I love the lighter scent than the Apple Spice had. It is not overpowering and is a great in-between scent for me. By in-between, I mean compared to my other scents in the shower.

As many of you know, depending upon the day I wash my hair, which is pretty much most days of the week, I have a different scent. So Fresh Apple is not as strong as my Vanilla Mint, Ginger Pumpkin, Mango Coconut, but a tad stronger to me than my Tuscan Pear, White Citrus, and the kids' Strawberry-Banana or Watermelon.

I like to use 613 as a mixer with my various scents.

What surprised me with the Fresh Apple as a second cleanse was that it rinsed out easily. I had that squeaky clean feeling with not a lot of rinsing. That's a good thing.

I did not notice any sandalwood or underlying heavy scent. It is light to me and I am happy about that. Would I buy a gallon of it? Not sure, as I have such a strong feeling for the VM, GP, and MC mentioned above. I only have so much room for gallons!

I am super glad that I got this new Fresh Apple in the 32-ounce auto-delivery offer, as I know I will be going thru the 16-ounce that came with the TSV before the season is over.

Hi sonechko, I tried the new Fall Apple and I found it to really be "TREATMENT".  It absorbs into my hair REALLY quick.  I love it.  Got to go back for more.  The honey ones are more hydrating but this new Fall one, there's something different about it.  It makes my hair behave much better.  While it's in my hair and I'm going on with my shower, it's absorbing so fast that when it's time to rinse, there's hardly anything left but just a few minutes before that, I had it all thickly creamed up!

I did a re-moist treatment overnight last night, and used the new FFA on mid-shaft to ends of my hair after I rinsed out the FGP re-moist.  It was a very pleasant scent to have lingering on my hair as it dried, since it stayed cool, and all I got was the crisp apple scent.  I may try some of this formula as re-moist when it becomes available, unless it has the honey complex.  I don't think honey is included in re-moists, but I've never bought one that matched the newest seasonals, so I'm not sure.  I'll wait until October, when Chaz brings the fall re-moists back, and read the ingredient lists.  As long as I don't use FFA hot, I do like the scent very much.

Thank you, Hedge, I figured that the honey complex was mostly a CC ingredient.  It was very kind of you to look that up for me!

@CamilleP , you're welcome

its posted on Chaz's website

It's a shame you have to rule out so many products.

Do you have issues with the four honey complex or just the Honeyquat (Hydroxypropyltrimonium Honey)?

Hedge, so far as I can tell, it's any of the honies Chaz has used in his CC's.  I first noticed the problem with Summer Honey Peach, but from that point on all the new seasonals with any honey of any sort would leave my scalp irritated and itching.  I've used nearly all of the seasonals with honey in them as first cleanses, and been okay, since it doesn't seem to stay on my scalp once I rinse and do a second cleanse with something I know I'm good with, like the original seasonals or the classics, but going forward, I want to do my best to never buy anything with any of the honey compounds in it.  I am saving my 32oz bottle of BST unopened, hoping my best friend can use it, so I can send it to her.  I have an advanced order of the duo placed to be delivered to her home, and once I know if she can use it, I can send her my extra BST.  If she can't use it, then I will just use it up as a first cleanse.  If BSI does what I hope on my hair, I will buy it individually.  It does not have any honey in it, so I think I'm safe with it on my scalp.

@worldtravler not sure if you asked this ? To Chaz yet. Now that there's FFA will he continue to make FAS. I just used it this morning for the first time in a year and I remembered why I love this so much . Don't worry I'm sure I'll love the results of FFA as well but U do love the scent of FAS.

@ANewHue Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I don't care for Fall Apple Spice, so I never inquired about its demise at QVC nor whether or not it would still be offered on his website.  Smiley Indifferent

Ok, so,  I admit I was a bit worried when I first used a little FFA to wash my hands just to test the scent.  It's a sister to FVWP that way, Very warm and a bit perfumey.  VWP is very strong to me and I only use it when the spirit moves me.  BUT.. as I had hoped, More is better.  Used in the amounts for a clense It's a bit lighter than that.  Oddly I was wracking my brain to figure out wnat it smelled like.  Then as I narrowed it down It hit me...CLOVE! YAY, i LIKE Clove!   Which is great but I don't think Clove is in the ingredients list so, go figure.  My hair likes This new CC.  Soft and shiney.  SO, Sister to FVWP and cousin to WWC.  Nicely done Chaz!
