@peanutjk I live in southern Florida and as my hair has become healthier (thanks to WEN) it has become less frizzy. I would suggest using TT for your first cleanse and SHP for your second cleanse. To me, SHP is more moisturizing and for me, the more moisturizing the less I had frizzy hair.
I believe it's really important to follow Chaz's directions, after you've cleansed rinsed repeated, add a pump of SHP CC to your soaking wet hair (rake it in, twist it in, comb it thru your hair) then add a pump of SC to your soaking wet hair (again, rake it thru, twist it in, push it into your ends, comb it thru), then add the mousse (if you have it) NOW get out of the shower. In my experience, following these steps have made a huge difference in the results I get with my hair.
I do carry a lot of RTM with me to mist / freshen up my face and hair throughout the day. You may like this idea if you are outside all day in the hot Florida sun.
It has taken several months of no blow drying my hair, not using any type of hot tool on my hair, pinning my hair in a bun, avoiding rubber bands, for my hair to heal and behave (not frizz out). Stick with WEN and if you get some frizzes this trip, you shouldn't have any on your next trip!
Have a great vacation!

@Thia-Winter wrote:@bebe777 I use gs all the time, it helps but I don't know how it would do in high FL humidity vs KY. I use either gs by itself or after sc.
@Thia-Winter, thanks for your input on this. I purchased the Glossing Serum (GS) last month but still haven't tried it you. ![]()

@riley1 wrote:@shaggygirl - I've tried the Frizz-ease - did nothing for my frizz prone hair - The air from South Carolina through Florida feels wet from the humidity - not much works in the high humidity.
Have you tried his Secret Weapon? If not you might want to give it a shot. After your hair is dry and in in place you smoosh some of it on your hands then run your hands over your hair.

I live in South Florida and this time of year especially, the humidity is incredibily difficult to deal with.
I have beyond baby fine hair (I am going to start calling it angel-fine!). It is also naturally curly. I mean, Shirly Temple curly! Frizz is nearly impossible to control for me. During the winter months I use a heated brush to straighten and control my frizz, and it works pretty well. Summer time and the rainy season is another story completely.
When using CC"s in various combinations, I really don't have a magic cure all for humidity, Overall I feel that MIF is consistently best for me.
However, in the last six months I tried remoist. Suprisingly, remoist combats humidity for me very well! On the days after I do a remoist treatment I dry natural and get springy, shiny, frizz free curls.
As another tip, I also get the same great results in between remoist treatments by using a small amount of remoist as a leave in. Its going to be a remoist summer for me!
I also have had success using a small amount of styling creme to smooth it....on dry hair. I don't really need it when I use the remoist method though.
Good luck!

Hi @libbyannE, I'm not sure if you realized this, but this is a thread for the Wen hair care forum. -- We tend to use a lot of acronyms for the Wen hair care products. ![]()
The Wen Abbreviations Glossary thread has lists these acronyms and their full product names. ![]()

Thank you. How the heck would I know that? So good if you to take time to educate me. I don't think The IT cream is a cleanser, but it uses the cc term!

@libbyannE LOL! You are right. I use some of the IT Cosmetic products, and you are correct, they use the CC term......a lot! ![]()
By the way, when I started using WEN one year ago, I too didn't know what the acronyms were. It really slowed me down when I was trying to learn. To this day I still keep a cheat sheet by my computer with the meanings, and make every effort to spell everything out when I post, taking into consideration the newbies. Sometimes I forget, but I try to do that since I know what it is like to have a bunch of acronyms thrown at you. You'll become an expert in no time. ![]()
