@Drythe

I wanted to post this here vs. the beauty forum.  You mentioned you use 613 when you get your hair colored.  May you please elaborate?  Before, after, how?  Details please.

Hi,

Hope y’all are doing well.

I take 613 to shop, stylist cleanses with it, I always work a bit of 613 into hair after final rinse, and comb through well.

On coloring day I do the same, and he combs through color, waits and rinses.  Hair is soft, highlights are beautiful, and last a good 4 months.

He thinks the results are excellent - or believe me, he would NOT do it that way.  I love them highlights 😍 !

@Drythe

Thanks!  I just got my color done last week, but next appointment I'll be sure to wash prior with 613, now that I have a gallon of it!  I generally wash the night before, but I've never specifically used 613.  I appreciate your feedback!  Have a fabulous weekend!

Just to be clear, I cleanse with 613, rinse, and then comb through a pea size amount which I leave in.  On coloring day, I do the same and he applies the color on top of the 613.

Please post a photo of Mr. Toby as you have time.

This is the newest one; I can't remember if I've posted it yet.  We usually are early risers, but his morning we decided to sleep in.  At 8:00am Toby decided it was time for us to get up!  He usually has his morning walk around 6:30 or 7am.  I thanked him for letting us sleep in.  It feels great to do that every now & then!

What a fine fellow!  Thank you, always a joy to see that happy face.

Note, I added to the post about 613 and color, just to sure I made sense.

Ahhh...I misread that.  I go to an Aveda salon, so I've never taken my WEN with me.  I guess that would be like taking my Aveda shampoo to Chaz's salon.  I DON'T use Aveda, except on my hair appointment day, but I was just stating an analogy.

Aveda has the best, brightest reds & they do hold much better than other lines previous hairdressers have used.  Another line that has vibrant, long-lasting reds is L'Oréal's Majirel professional line (I think that is the brand Chaz uses).  My hairdresser back in the 90's used it on me.

I will still use my 613 prior to color.  I love my hairdresser; she finally learned to stop trying to sell me Aveda hair care!  I used to use Aveda for many years, but you can tell a difference in my hair compared to WEN.  She can never get the curl definition that I have; in fact, my style looks better going in than after my appointment.  It's also not as hydrated & soft.  I just come home & give myself an oil treatment & either Re-moist the next day or use it as my leave-in (I generally wait a day to wash after color).

My stylist uses Majirel.  He mixes two colors together to get the shade that looks like 25% sun lightening mixed with my natural color

Since it’s his private salon he’s Ok with my bringing in my WEN, always do.  A testament to Chaz as he would NOT use it if he didn’t see good results!
