vero beach

Going to Jupiter,FLA for a week and looking at Vero Beach for a day trip.  Anyone been there?

A long time ago when my kids were still in elementary school (20 years ago) we spent a long weekend at the Disney Vacation Club resort.  It was really nice at the time and had fun activities for the kids...sorry this probably doesn't help.

 

From what I remember it was a nice area that wasn't congested but things might have changed quite a bit by now.
