But first, we have to get up there. The first of many series of steps...

To be fair, the steps weren’t awful.  It was a cool day and, other than in the photo posted and later near the top, the steps were spaced far enough apart to allow for plenty of breath catching.

Another example.  There were places were you needed to really watch for slippery marble.  I lost my footing once in my Clark sandals.

@Alter Ego Loving the photos! Brings back memories of a wonderful trip my sister and I took. But it was much more crowded when my sister and I were there at the Parthenon. So happy you didn't have a lot of people there.

Can’t believe I haven’t taken any flower photos until now!  Many flowers in Corfu, just not where we stopped! Not one of my best; I take them because they make me feel artistic.

Buildings passed on way to Plaka

Plaka is Athen’s old town with lots of restaurants/bars and shops.  I liked it.

There were also some archeological sites in the area.

Of course, I had to stop to eat!  I basically just googled where to eat in Plaka and came across this place.

I was just going to post this photo...
