Talking Stick is a great resort in Scottsdale and I don't think they allow pets, not sure of their current policy however.

When I use to go to hotels with my dogs it was my experience that they had rooms dedicated for that so you could ask for a room not used for pets.  Of course you may want be sensitive to them and not want to be near them all.

Just my opinion but I would stay away from downtown or airport hotels and go to the north valley/Scottsdale etc.

Thank you so much for your suggestions.   I found one from Meow Kitty's list.  Talking Stick looks like a great place but it is further from where I need to be. 

I knew this was the place to come for answers.

Hilton hotels ARE PET FRIENDLY. (There is a surcharge...and rules)

Many have special areas for dogs but you cannot leave them in the room to bark.  I believe there is an extra charge for them.  Many people travel with their dogs and cannot leave them in their cars in Phoenix.  I avoid Phoenix at all costs.  What do you have againt dogs anyway, they are your best friend.

I don't have anything against dogs.  I have had a bad experience staying at a dog friendly hotel in the past.   Not all who travel with their pet's are responsible pet owners.

What part of Phoenix are you looking in? It's so big and there are many different areas. Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Glendale etc. are often considered to be "Phoenix."
