You make no mention how long you will be on the "east coast."  You have already received enough info to last for a few weeks!

If you make it down to Pennsylvania:

QVC - Chester

Amish country - Lancaster

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire - Lancaster

Liberty Bell as well as all the other tons of historical sites - Philly (Center City)

Penns Landing - Philly

South Street - Philly

Mint building - Philly (Center City)

Franklin Institute - Philly (edge of Center City)

Barns Art museum - Philly (edge of Center City)

Casinos - Bethlehem, Bensalem, Philly & King Of Prussia

===========

If you make it down to South Joisey:

Aquarium - Camden on the Waterfront.

Casinos - Atlantic City.  7 on the boardwalk.  3 on the Marina.

Tanger Outlets (discount stores)-Atlantic City. *AARP members get 15%-30% (sometimes up to 80%) off on ALL items even if on sale.

Wildwood

Ocean City

@Mz iMac   Are you a Philly girl? Smiley Happy . I'm in Bucks Co. but both of my kids are in Philly.  I like to visit DD since she works from home and I can go see her and then we'll have lunch at some of the fabulous restaurants that Philly has to offer.

Acadia National Park is a must-see if you are in that area of Maine. The lobster there is fantastic. The cog railway in New Hampshire is another not-to-be missed experience. Of course Boston is filled with history. You can't go wrong heading up to New England.
