My husband and I took a Colette tour 10+ years ago sponsored by our local Chamber of

Commerce and it was fantastic.  Tour guide was wonderful and learned so much about history and architecture.  We also met so many wonderful people.  Also had plenty of down time to explore on our own.  So impressed that we did 2 more Colette tours after that one.  Whatever you decide enjoy - Italy is wonderful!

We take tours with Tauck but not in Italy as we live there part of the year but before we did, we would drive & book our hotel. If it’s a decent hotel, the concierge can line up local guides which is what we did. We saw many beautiful & interesting out of the way cities & places this way.
