Albuquerque

@Kachina  DH and I just made plans to attend the Gathering of Nations (Pow Wow) in Albuquerque in April.  Have you been?  Any tips/advice?  We've been talking about this for quite awhile and are looking forward to it.  Also will spend a few days in Santa Fe.  We've been to both places before but it has been awhile.

 

TIA for any info!

@kaydee50.  I must confess I've never been to the pow wow.  I'd love to visit the vendors who are there and see the spectacular costumes but about 10 minutes of that loud, monotonous drumming would send me straight to the funny farm.  Indigenous people from all over the world attend.   it's a nice time to visit Albuquerque,  before it gets blazing hot.
