I love airtags. I have one hidden in my car, one on my keychain, one I use in my luggage and the other I let my son use when he travels. He's 15 and this summer he went to NC with a family member. On their way home they boarded the plane and after waiting over an hour to take off, they had to get off the plane and was told their flight was cancelled due to bad storms. They didn't know where their luggage was. He called me and I tracked their luggage using the air tag (at the time he didn't know how it worked) and I found out their luggage was put on another plane and arrived in Philly. They weren't able to get a flight home from NC until the next day so they had no clothes and had to return to the house of family they were visiting for the night.

During Amazon's Prime Day earlier this month I ordered more air tags and key rings and will give them out as Christmas presents to my friends.

That did not help my friends when their luggage was put on the wrong cruiseship. They had no clothes for 3 days. They were upgraded to a suite.Big deal.... It cost them $300.00 to buy clothes on the ship!

That scenerio is a port issue, not an Air Tag issue. We just got back from a cruise and after turning over our luggage at the port (the porters are not cruise ship employees), I followed our Air Tags via the app to make sure our luggage made it onto the ship.
