Everyone's travel plans sound so fun!

It is great to discover new things and see the world, even if it takes a lifetime.

I am going on a Caribbean cruise in April--looking forward to sun and relaxation!

I also have a trip booked to China in July, but that looks to be a probable No-Go due to the horrible virus.

I'm sorry to hear this. I'm sure things will calm down by then - at least I hope so!  Regardless, I don't blame you for being cautious and cancelling if needed.  Going to China wasn't on my radar for a few years, and it's concerning even in my fantasy planning!  Just so crowded.

@reiki604.  The weather is usually sunny and just a bit chilly, cold at night.  It could, however, be most anything.  This past Thanksgiving Day, we had 7" of snow.  Albuquerque is at the same altitude as Denver, 5,270 ft and that bothers some people.

There are a ton of interesting things to see and do in this area, most require having a car.  Let me know if you want suggestions.

Thank you for the offer. I'm sure I'll have more questions the closer it gets. Right now I'm starting to pack for the cruise. Making sure I have my Lysol spray and wipes with me as well as loads of hand sanitizer.

@bargainsgirl   It will be my first time.  My brother & sister in law have been three times and loved them...they are going on the trip too.

Re: 2020 travel plans (so far)

We are headed to So. California in late April (mainly to see step son and his lovely wife), but want to visit Santa Barbara and some other places we haven't seen in CA.

In the planning process for a Sept/Oct trip to northern France.  Champagne region mostly to do some tasting and see some WWI and WWII sites.  Recently found the number of my Grandfather's WWI unit so will be looking to see places he was deployed.

Next year (2021) planning to go to Spain and do the Camino de Santiago plgrimage - probably Sept/Oct as well.

We like to travel in the Spring or Fall.  Love the summers in Upstate NY so we stay home and do day trips or quick overnights.

Hmmm, well so far I know I'll go to Florida at least twice.

Upstate NY to do some hiking in late spring.

Just booked a trip with Globus to hit some National Parks in the Pacific Northwest in early September.

Ryder Cup in Wisconsin in late September

I'm sure I'll find more places to go as the year goes on.

Your trips sound great!

Now that I live near the beach, I don't have to plan Jersey shore trips anymore.Woman LOL

I am chaperoning a high school trip to Venice, Athens & the several Greek isles during April spring break.  We are starting in Athens, then getting on a ship for the isles, coming back to Athens and ending in Venice.  With 44 students over 10 days ...

I've been chaperoning these trips for about 10 years now, and even though I retired from the school district 2 yrs ago, I'm lucky to still be invited to chaperone.

I absolutely love Venice.  Looking forward to it.

Taking our 5th Tauck trip.  This one is to Greece.  It starts in Athens, and then we board a small ship that holds 148 passengers and 100 in crew, and cruise the Greek Islands.  CAN'T WAIT.   Haven't been to Greece since I went with my girlfriend back in college (MANY decades ago!).

will definitely be hitting the delaware shore on and off all year long, but especially during the summer months.
