Re: Women With Control TSV 2/5 - Not Chic!

I agree that the prints are not very pretty. And I HATE the hi-low hem! Does anyone really like that? Looks like your shirttail is out all the time!

I would have purchased this TSV had the prints been more subdued or even had the top been a solid. I passed on this one because of the print selection.

Well, it is like many things, some like it, some don't. I've tried this line and it doesn't work for me so I didn't buy it again and won't buy this TSV either.

If you like it, go for it.

It's a bit too Marie Barone for me.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

QVC clothing is far from chic.....the majority of items are old-lady knits and everything is super-sized.

Ouch.

They need stretchy, super-sized knits to fit ellaphants.

Re: Women With Control TSV 2/5 - Not Chic!

As a size XL the last thing I want to wear are clothes that are all puffy and make me look like I'm pregnant.

Yes, I said pregnant. My stomach is large enough without wearing something that makes me look like I'm about to pop out a baby any minute.

I don't want something skin tight, but some on. I thought this lady was supposed to be able to fit people in a way that shows off the best of them, not drape a tent over it.

Designers like Louis and George (and whomever does Joan River's clothes) know how to put in darts and seams so that clothing shows off the best of a woman.

I adore all of the above's clothes.

IMO her clothing is OK on women who are stick thin with skinny legs only.

There are some of us don't want to "show off" our body. QVC has a variety of styles and you have your preferences.

Personally I wouldn't wear Louis, George or Joan, or Bob or Isaac. Their fashion/style visions are very far removed from mine.

Exactly! Very dated.....need some fresh, updated styles for 2015!
