Steve and Liam,
I own a pair of the champagne Tide II which I love; they're a perfect fit. I've got several questions with regard to them:
* Since the middle of the strap is leather, I try to avoid getting them wet in the rain. How rain resistant is this leather center strip? If it's raining and I don't have an umbrella will this ruin the leather center strip?
* Also, I've tried a number of your other sandals on in shoe stores but they are all too narrow for my feet which run to the wider side of a B (but not a C). My shoe size is 10.5 but I can sometimes wear a 10. Wide shoes are frequently too wide for me and the regular width tends to be too narrow. Your Tide II sandals are a perfect fit. -- What other sandals have your Tide II footbed? Also, should I purchase the TSV in the regular or wide width?
* Nubuck has much more give and is less likely to be tight around my toes and sole. Do you have any plans to make a mocassin or ballet flat out of nubuck leather?
Thank you for answering my questions.

P.S. Thank you for the feminine but clearly wide toe box on your TSV moccasin. It looks very toe friendly!!

I really wish you would do more leather shoes in wide widths. I've been disappointed at how fewof your shoes to date come in a wide width.
I ordered some sandals with man made uppers, but found I'm allergic to something in the man made material. So I really need leather, even in sandals. And I have a very high arch and instep, so I really need a wide width in everything.
I ordered the TSV today, but now, since everyone is saying it runs big, I'm hoping I've ordered the correct size.
I got the 3/4 and full insoles a few months ago, and have been wearing them in assorted shoes including sandals. I've found they are helping me with several issues in my legs and feet, in particular, something called lipedema lymph edema. I've had much less fluid retention while wearing vionic insoles than otherwise. My legs are gradually getting slimmer, since I'm retaining so much less fluid, probably because it drains better when my legs and feet are in better alignment.
I'd prefer to order shoes designed to work with the orthotics, but, if I can't find leather, I'll use your insoles with other shoe brands.

Gday @bebe777. No problems to get a splash or some rain on the leather. And the Tide actually fits as a wide so any of the other sandals that we offer in a wide should be fine for you. I would also say go for the wide in the TSV if Tide is working for you. Thanks so much for your faith in us. Cheers - Steve.

Gday @semava. Two years ago we didnt have many leather shoes and none in wide widths. This year all our closed shoes are leather other than some sneakers. About half our sandals are leather. And about half of all our shoes come in wides. All the TSV's do. So it might be worth taking another look if that was your concern. We are really happy the technology is helping you and fingers crossed something today has caught your eye. Thanks - Steve.

Ahh.... that is too bad. Really wanted to try these. So why not make shoes for under ponators? .Can't we get some shoe love too?

Short answer is its much rarer and much more difficult to make an over the counter solution for. If we thought we could do it we would but we dont want to deliver products that cant meet the promise. Sorry - Steve.

I was wondering if you'll ever make shoes that accommodate high insteps or dorsal part of foot. All of the straps your flip type sandals sit too low for those of us who have this condition. And there are times when the top part of a person's foot swells making it impossible to wear your shoes.
Thanks!
Sue

Hi
Steve
I have 3 sons. Their shoe sizes are 13-15-16.
Any chance of larger men sizes?
I have told them their whole lives to take care of their feet. We live in Florida. They all need sandals. Help
PS please congratulate Liam & Stacy Ann for me
Thanks JoEllen

Gday. We make plenty of sandals with adjustable straps that I thought would have worked for you ? ANd I assume our sneakers would also be OK ? Failing that you can also get the insoles to put in your other shoes that work for you. Thanks - Steve.

I have LOTS of Vionic sandles and truly love them. What I would like to see is more closed shoes in wide widths. Particularly flat booties or mules like the snake leather shown today. Will there be any in the line in the near future?
