Clunky seems to be "in " again  for some shoes. I am in and out of the house all day long in the  summer and live in slip ons. I just bought a pair of Birkis from HSN. Alegria is another favorite. Have to see...🤔

I just don't care for the oversized soles on shoes, and it seems that they are the new in look so I guess I won't be buying shoues for a while! I used to be a huge Vionics fan but don't care for the new styles.

I don't mind the sole.  The clunkiness for me is in the straps.  Way too much material.  Looks odd.  If you need that much length of velcro for it to fit your foot, your foot is probably way too fat for the shoe.  It's a NO for me, lol, as if anyone cares!

I was looking for an adjustable slide since one foot is a little shriveled and sometimes I do socks and sometimes not.  Just for in the house.

Thinking a buckle is the way to go.

I think an adjustable slide would be better than a buckle because you can get the exact width needed once you set your foot inside the shoe with or without socks.


Yes these Recovery slides are not the most attractive but if you’re wearing them in and around your home WHO Cares. 😂


Besides Your feet AND BODY will thank you !! After all our feet are the foundation for our body and if our feet are unbalanced, so will be the rest of your body.

Then allowing ALL the back aches, knee pains etc. to take over and make us miserable. 🥴
