I was wondering if anyone has this Veranda rug on an uncovered composite deck.  I really want to get one, but I want to make sure that it won't damage our deck flooring when we move.  (My husband gets transferred every 4-5 years, it's inevitable within the next 3 years.)  Thanks.  Smiley Happy

I don't have the TSV rug, but I have one made from the same material, in fact, it looks exactly the same as the natural one offered.

These rugs sometimes do not dry fast enough.  If it gets wet on a super hot day, it will dry quickly.  If it is in the shade or the weather is humid, it stays damp.

I removed it from my wooden deck because it trapped moisture underneath it. It didn't ruin my deck, but I never gave it a chance to.

If your deck in in the full sun and it will dry quickly, it should be okay.  The material used to make this rug does not bleed or stain and won't ruin your deck.

I am back to using a mat on my deck.   It dries quickly

Depends on whether the deck is in full sun or not. I have one of these on an uncovered pressure treated wood deck that's in sun 1/2 the time. It does trap moisture underneath. Anything you cover over a deck in full sun will block the sun from weathering the deck at the same rate as the unblocked parts. Even our covered composite deck in the front weathers in the full sun. If I had this on there, it would probably have a "carpet shaped" unweathered part to it.

Thank you.  Most of the area gets sun, and it's usually quite breezy back there.  I'm so torn, I really want it, but I'm afraid.  Thanks again.
