I got the last cell phone TSV and had so many problems with tracfone, I finally returned it. Anyone else have problems with tracfone service?Customer service is the worst. Not one could speak English and did not solve my problem. Everytime I tried to make a call, I got a message telling me I had to buy minutes. When I first set up the phone,all I got was messages from people I did not know. Tracfone never did fix these problems.

I bought 2 tracfones in Aug 2013. No issues with the phones or customer service. I made separate calls to set them up. Customer service couldn't have been anymore helpful. My only issue is one phone was for my mother and she doesn't like the style of the phone and won't use it. Sorry to hear you've had issues. It was a pleasant transaction for me.

There was paper in the box with the number you needed to call to get the minutes Pin. There was also a different phone number to call if you had any problems. Perhaps you didn't see that separate piece of paper.

You are right. I reread the thread. There are a number of specific steps that need to be followed to get the new phone up and running. The phone came with a check list. You have to do all steps, in the order listed, to successfully set up the phone. It sounds like you may have skipped a step. That would explain the issues described.

I purchased the special last year and all I can say is what a joke!! Customer service what customer service...there isn't any! I'm still trying to get my phone to work properly.

I got the tracfone and have had no problems with it at all. I really like it and use it mainly for calls and texting.

I had no problems setting up my lg phones tracfone. Considering upgrading to android.

I love Tracfone. I have never had a dropped call. I've also never had to call them, I do everything on line, no problems.

I have and LG840G right now and I did order the TS today. When I transfer my minutes, they will also add that amount to my data and text.

I took the plunge. It's a good deal, IMO. I got the Polka Dot.

Yes! My experience was a complete nightmare! Never again!
