Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

I bought my first set the first time they were on.  They were great.  A year or so later ordered another set.  The quality was AWFUL.  They stained right away, and cracked easily.  Getting a replacement was really tough.  Don't know what happened, but I won't ever buy again.

Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

I have converted over to the glass Lock & Lock sets for anything I'm going to need to heat.  Will keep my original sets for storage of cereal, pasta, flour etc.

Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

I purchased because I want the large containers for non food related items. The smaller pieces may end up being donated. I do agree that the quality in recent years has declined especially with the rubber seal. I have a lot of Lock and Lock and rotate almost daily when items are stored in the refrigerator because of the moisture build up. It’s the moisture that causes food to spoil quickly. With all this said, I still like the Lock and Lock containers I have. I would never throw a container in a body of water as they suggest, would not trust their theory about floating.

Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

Has anyone heard if they are going to hold the TSV price for a few days? Just wondering how long I have to decide on a color. I'm a sucker for the extra large L&L. They are great for all of my dog treats, etc. (I have a L&L problem......I think..LOL)

@IamMrsG

I have LNL pieces I bought many many years ago -- in fact,they have the clear lids.  That's how old they are & to this day not one broken tab, seal or staining.

I wanted to get colored ones (blue) and I donated many of them.  The newer ones are IMO just as good -- no problems🤞🏻.

I wish I could buy smaller sets ...I've gifted everyone & I like the TSV but don't need all those, just the big ones.

Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

I love my old lock and lock.  It is still like brand new.  I have some containers that are clear blue and clear pink...not just the lids, but the whole container.

The last couple of sets I bought were inferior.  The tabs break and the seals keep popping out.  Some of the tabs will no longer stay down on the container and the lids are useless because I can't close them.

I guess I already have enough containers to last me a life time, so I am passing on the TSV.

Re: The Lock & Lock TSV coming up

Yesterday's TSV still available today.  All colors except the new opal that sold out quickly.
