I think Denim and Co. selling real lamb leather is disgusting. There is no need of that. There are so many great faux leathers out there. We have come so far in our kindness to animals. Clean Beauty, Clean Beauty-Kind, No Animals used, and no testing on animals. But then I see they are selling lamb leather which is the murder of lambs for a miserable 200.00 bucks! $$$$$$$ Where is your heart QVC. It's all about money. They act like they are about not abusing or using animals, then I see this. Sad how many died for this stupid coat.

Could not agree more. Those poor animals lose their lives for the almighty dollar. I hope it's a flop and very few people purchase. Shame on QVC and Gary Goben.

Those were my sentiments exactly!
I got no further than 'real lamb leather'!
In case you don't recognize him, it's Mahatma Ghandi.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but QVC is a SHOPPING CHANNEL ... an online retailer. If you don't want what they are selling then just don't buy it.
From your post, I would assume you're 100% vegetarian and have NO leather or animal by-products of any sort in your shoes, handbags, jackets, belts and whatever .... right?
Or is the phrase "murder" of lambs used while you walk around in leather shoes and eat fried chicken just faux outrage?

I imagine lambs aren't killed for their hide; rather, they're killed for their meat and leather is just a byproduct that would otherwise be discarded. At least that's the way it was at a cattle slaughterhouse I visited once.

Inconsistent beliefs and cognitive dissonance leads us to the it's ok to think that slaughtering animals for food and using them as a by product for purses/coats etc are two different processes. We don't want to be thought of as unloving towards sentient beings. The reality is animal slaughter is animal cruelty....no matter what the purpose, the animal experiences the fear and pain.
I understand that it is a challenge to look outside the box of how you have been raised to disconnect between the animal and what is on the plate or back. Therefore, I'm not judging only stating a reality.

If lamb leather freaks you out then you better not eat meat, wear any leather shoes, or carry leather handbags.
